Amendment sought for law director post
Knox County Commissioner Finbarr Saunders filed a Charter amendment Wednesday that would allow the Knox County Law Director to be hired and fired by the county mayor and commissioners. Currently, the law director is popularly elected and cannot be fired by the mayor or commission.
